Through out the story, his dreams come between the relationship he has with his two best friends. They dont believe that everything he is doing is worth all the work he is putting for his dream. They believe that school is a waist and want get him anywhere and they believe he should drop-out and join the gang theyre apart of. Kirk is caught between a rock in a hard place and he is not sure who to drop, his dream of one day of becoming an engineer or his two best friends. I can connect to Kirk and his situation because I have a dream of one day attending,The Ohio State University, and some times my friends can come between my dream and I. At times, my friends believe that the extra curricular activities and programs I do arent necessary and a waist of time since they take away time I could be spending with them. I do them because The Ohio State University looks for extra curricular activities and programs on your application. For me to be successful and go to The Ohio State University, I need to do things that they would like to see on my application when I apply one day.
Friendship is a gift from God to us. In a small village, there used to be two friends whose age is 5 and Both lived on the same street. The name of 5 years old is Jony and 10 years old is John.
