Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Cabin Fever by Jeff Kinney - review
When the novel begins, Thanksgiving has just passed, and Greg is panicked about being as good as he can so that Santa Claus will bring him many gifts. Greg spends much of his free time playing the game Net Critterz online. Greg needs cash to buy his virtual pet Chihuahua various items, but his mom says she will not give him any money. Further, she reveals that Greg will have to earn his own money to buy gifts for others this year. Greg immediately sets to work trying to come up with ways to earn cash. His attempts at shoveling snow end in failure as he tries to use water to blast away the snow —which in turn causes a sheet of ice to build up instead. Greg and Rowley decide to have a Holiday Bazaar like the school does, and will sell concession snacks, offer games, and sell gifts.
