The Glorious Mysteries by Karina Tabone

Karina Tabone is a wife, stay-at-home mother, writer, graphic designer, art aficionado, and recovering biochemical engineer who just happens to love Jesus. After trying various ways to nurture her young children in the Catholic faith while simultaneously sustaining an active prayer life for herself, she realized that examining religious artwork was a fantastic way of exploring the Catholic faith. Using the graphic design skills that she picked up while in the publishing and biotech industries, she designed Illustrated Rosary, a series that seeks to spread the practice and devotion of the Rosary through classic religious art. In her spare time, Karina also runs Illustrated Prayer, a website that explores art, history, scripture, Catholicism, and prayer. She lives in Washington with her amazing husband and wonderful children.

Glorious Mystery of the Rosary

Print Share Calendar Diocesan Locator. First Glorious Mystery The Resurrection Our Lord Jesus Christ, on the third day after his passion and death, rose again in glory, victorious over death and never to die again. Prayer Intentions That all who are dying might join themselves with Christ who died and rose for them For those who do not believe Our Father Hail Mary, full of grace… O Holy Mary, with a mother's care look gently on those who suffer with cancer Hail Mary, full of grace… O Holy Mary, cradle the bodies broken with cares of this world Hail Mary, full of grace… O Holy Mary, intercede for those imprisoned by selfishness and sin

At dawn of the first day of the week, I was with John and Peter. I was in my room alone: John and Peter were in the next room. I woke up. There was a light: it was all over the room. There was my Son: He came forward, He said to me, "Come, for you are the one worthy to be the first to see My risen body.

You need not be amazed! You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, the one who was crucified. He has been raised up; He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. Mark

Optional additional prayers

When used for the prayer, the word is usually capitalized "the Rosary" , as is customary for other names of prayers, such as "the Lord's Prayer ", and "the Hail Mary "; when referring to the beads, it is written with a lower-case initial letter "a rosary". The prayers that comprise the Rosary are arranged in sets of ten Hail Marys, called decades. Each decade is preceded by one Lord's Prayer and followed by one Glory Be.

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. And the angel answered and said unto the women: "Fear not ye! For I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here. For he is risen, as he said". Mat 28, The risen Jesus has proved that man, together with Him, can have power over sin and therefore death.

He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
